Guarnaschelli made an appearance on the Food Network's Iron Chef America where she competed against Cat Cora in the Farmers Market Battle of 2007. Seit then she is a judge of the program. She was also a contestant on The Next Iron Chef in season 4 in the year 2011. In addition, she competed on the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast and fell short. She became a sous-chef to Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian after the fourth season of The Next Iron Chef. She joined The Food Network's The Cooking Loft With Alex Guarnaschelli in 2008, where she leads a small class of students in how to recreate classic dishes.
